Metal fans will be in musical heaven this year as the event management company Alpine Attitude is back with another metal show. The event ‘Metal Evolution’ is scheduled for January 28, 2012 at Tashi Namgyal Academy (TNA) Auditorium. The featuring Act will be performed by Sinister Violence (Darjeeling), Damagera (Gangtok) and Dream Diabolic (Namchi). The opening acts will be performed by two Gangtok bands ‘Eye Still’ and Dwelling for Aeon.

Having successfully organized four shows in the past, the event management company is now looking forward positively for Metal Evolution’s success.

“Despite a number of musical shows, fests and contests music scenario in the state is not up to the mark. Fortunately it’s catching up slowly”, said Damber Rai, Manager of Alpine Attitude. The company, through this event, is trying to create a platform and encourage the upcoming bands and artists.

‘Eye still’ is a promising metal band from Gangtok and all its members are under 16. Though the Company has mostly organized rock and metal shows, but this time their kitty is full of several other surprises for music lovers. “Alpine Attitude welcomes all the upcoming artists from all genre of music”, Mr. Rai added.

Highlighting the universal appeal of music, Anil Gurung, Event Manager of Alpine Attitude, appealed the parents to understand its value. “We are trying to convey a message to all the parents that everyone who listens to this rock/metal genre doesn’t necessarily take drugs. Music keeps the children engaged and keep them away from negative habits”, he insisted. Metal Evolution is scheduled to start at 3pm and the tickets are available at an affordable price of Rs 100/-.
