Every year a number of students go out of Sikkim to prepare for UPSC and SSC Examinations. The state government has come up with an unique scheme for such students.

The Sikkim government has invited applications from local graduates in any discipline with consistently good academic record for availing of coaching facilities at renowned centers outside the state for Union Public Service Commission and Staff Service Selection Commission Examinations.

On selection in the entrance examination, Government shall provide training expenses, boarding and lodging at government approved rates including one time books allowance not exceeding Rs. 12000 on reimbursement basis.

Intake Capacity:  For UPSC- 25 nos. For Staff Selection- 50 nos.

Selection Procedure:  Performance based on the entrance exam shall be held annually in accordance with the pattern of UPSC Preliminary and SSC Exams

Application forms can be downloaded from the official website www.sikkimhrdd.org Last date for submission of the application is 29^th October, 2012. Application after the due date shall not be entertained. The date of examination is 1^st November 2012.
