Minor raped in Jorethang, culprit still absconding

Ten Tshering Lepcha of Jorethang has been charged with rape case of a minor. An FIR has been lodged by Mrs. Mamta Tamang, mother of the victim at Jorethang Police station.

The FIR lodged states that on 8th January at around 8pm her daughter Ms. Atari Biswakarma (7yrs 2months) was sleeping with another child and during Mrs. Tamang’s absence Lepcha allegedly entered the house and raped her daughter. When the victim disclosed the incident she was sent for medical examination, but the alleged is still absconding. The police have registered a case under section 376 of Indian Penal Code and the case is under investigation.

    This is a 2nd case in sikkim as for i know.
    its dam serious n it should be stoped right now in our state. Their should be a dengerious punishment so as to make a example that no one will try it again. Like cutting the fingers of that culprit, both hands and legs slowly, n the ears also n make a video n publish it through out the sikkim. A kind of such diedly video will bring a endless fear which will be remembered by all of the citizen of our state. I wish this could be true but it want. This was my opinion to save females of our state……….!
