The people of Central Pendam, Rhebock, Rongli and Chujachen are facing many problems because of the bad condition of Rorathang road. The road is an alternative to 31A National Highway. People have also complained that because of this bad condition of road some people could not even take their patients to the hospital in time. It has been informed that the local people have already requested to the Border Roads Organisation three months ago but nothing has happened till date. Two factories are also located in this stretch CIPLA and Golden Cross. Many employees working in these factories also travel through this road daily. During the rainy season many vehicles also go to Siliguti through this road, but because of the condition and also for the fact that there are no safety walls in the road side, the drivers have to go through this road at their own risk. Hence, the people of this area have requested the Roads and Bridges Department to look into this matter at the earliest.
