Ranipool, 19 June 2012:

A seven daylong Sri Madbhagwad Puran which commenced from 13th June at Ranipool for earth quake victims and world peace concluded on Tuesday.

Sikkim Truck Drivers cum Owners Association and Sri Krishna Parnami Yuva Parishad has been jointly organizing the event.

Speaking to Sikkim Mail general secretary of STDOA Yound Chettri informed that Priya Acharya of Mangal Dhaam and Prabhakar Maharaj from Gujarat who reached on June 13 has been conducting the prayers. This is for the first time that the association has organized such event and is getting support from the people from various backgrounds. The association has been doing social works since its inception. Both the Maharajas have been praying for the world peace and the devotees have been participating in huge numbers.
