World Travel Market 2010, the premier global event for the travel industry, is going to be held in Reed Travel Exhibitions London from 8th November to 11th November. India is also participating in this World Travel Market. The Indian team will be led by Union Minister for Tourism Kumari Selja. Sikkim has also got an opportunity to market its Tourism products. The state will be represented by Sikkim Tourism Development Corpn. Ltd, Deorali and Gangtok. The Indian stand is being shared by 42 other participants which include tourism departments of Goa, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Meghalaya and Assam. The State’s team will be captained by Minister for Tourism Mr Bhim Dungel along with five members from the Travel Agent’s Association of Sikkim namely Mr Palzor Lachungpa, Mr Norgay Lachungpa, Mr Mohan Pradhan, Mr Sunil Lama and Mr Sarjit Cintury.
