A shocking incident at Kanchendzonga Shopping complex near the waste dumping spot was witnessed here today where a under developed dead body of a female baby fetus was found lying in a miserable condition on a bag which had been dragged out from the waste dumping spot by stray dogs according to the locals present there.

The police came to the spot at around 12:30 pm in the noon after they were informed by the locals around and removed the body from the spot and carried on with their proceedings. The Sadar Thana incharge PI Tshering Sherpa said that the case has been booked under section 318 of IPC and further investigation is under going process. Meanwhile the body has been sent to STNM hospital for post mortem report he further informed.

Such horrible incident is once again raising the question of female infanticide in our society which is once again limiting the thought that we are developing.
