Giving the example of engineering profession, he said that although certain basics of engineering will not change, the explosion of knowledge, the global economy and the way engineers will work will reflect an ongoing evolution that began to gain momentum a decade ago.
He concluded by advising the graduates to always recognize the support provided by their parents and family members who reposed the confidence in them; as also the society at large, which contributed to the development of their institution. Whatever wealth- intellectual and financial- they may generate they should have the temperament to share it for the benefit of the society starting with their institution.
