The Delhi team of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) alongwith other Gorkhas residing in Delhi attended a rally on August 21, 2011 from India Gate to Ramlila Maidan to support Team Anna’s demand to pass the Lokbal Bill during the current session of Parliament. Around 200 people attended the rally. The GJM Delhi team was lead by Manoj Sankhar, President along with General Secretary Ranjan Sharma, Vice President Rustam Chhetri and Assistant General Secretary Lobsang Lama.

Members of Naari Morcha as well as Yuwa Morcha were also present on the occassion. The crowd was humongous and the atmosphere electric. Slogans and placards against the present government was raised. The Delhi GJM team shall attend the rally in the coming days in huge numbers as the cause of the rally is to eradicate corruption and the Gorkhas residing at Delhi have been one of the worst victims of corruption at every step of their life in Delhi.
