Singer Dancer duo from Sikkim Remanti Rai and Robin Mukhia have reached the finals of ‘North East Ke Super Star’ programme which started from 13th January 2011 at Guwahati, Assam. The programme will be telecast on NE TV Channel.

Speaking to media Ms. Remanti Rai informed that there are 8 dancers and 8 singers in the final round from across the nation. She said that to win the competition the voting is must as during the finals the winner would be declared on the basis of the votes received. She appealed all the citizens of state to support them with votes.

The audition round for the competition started since December 20, 2010 at Guwahati whereas the finals is scheduled to be held during the mid of October 2011 informed Ms. Rai. It is learnt the program is organized by Suyojan Fames and sponsored by Ministry of Development of North East Region.

Due to some technical reasons the final performances are getting late but the programme will be telecast by DD North East Channel added Ms. Rai.

She further mentioned that a total of 10 artists had participated from Sikkim
in the competition out of which 8 artists were eliminated during the semi final round leaving behind two contestants each in each discipline from all the participating NE states. She will visit every college and school and request the students, youths and the loving citizens of state to cast vote in favor of the states participants so that the duo victors and shine the states name. The duo have plans to visit Kalimpong and Darjeeling to appeal for votes.
