In the South district almost 150 camps has been organized after the introduction of Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Annual & Total Check up for Healthy Sikkim (CATCH) and about 23,000 people have been examined during these camps with lab tests.
This week CATCH was organized at Primary Health Sub Center of Lower Tingmoo which comes under Barfung Constituency in South Sikkim, by department of Health South Sikkim.
Almost 150 families from the ward no 2 of Lower Tingmoo were examined by the doctors from the Health Department South District, Government of Sikkim.
No major diseases were detected but mostly just minor ailments were detected informed Dr. Sujata Gurung who was heading the camp.
During the programme people were also provided with the facilities of X -Ray and blood test by the Mobile Medical Unit.
While interacting with the people there, they expressed their gratitude and satisfaction towards the CM Pawan Chamling and his government for coming up with such innovative programmes.
