The students of Dalapchand Secondary School have thanked Mohan Pradhan ‘Neeraj’, Sansthapak of Singtam Basibiyalo for the platform that they have received on the monthly cultural and literary event.
Dalapchand Secondary School students had been part of Singtam Basibiyalo since last May ever since Shital Pradhan, Publicity Secretary of Singtam Basibiyalo had joined Dalapchand SS as primary teacher. The school has also congratulated Singtam Basibiyalo for completing 42 successful episodes.
TN Poudhyal, teacher and President of Himali Sangh, NGO from Dalapchand had been a regular visitor at Basibiyalo. Poudhyal told cultural and literary events plays a vital role at the scholastic activities these days and our school feels thankful for the opportunity that the stage of Singtam Basibiyalo has provided to everyone.
Without doubt Basibiyalo event at Singtam provides an opportunity for all age of life to learn something, More than 25 students have performed at Basibiyalo at singing, dancing and poetry recitations and more are eagerly waiting for an opportunity. We always feel proud to participate at this stage and we shall give our best in days to come too, said Poudhyal.
From class VII to class X, the students have entertained the Basibiyalo audiences. The claps we had received from the audiences have always encouraged us, told Rebika Rai, Cultural Captain of the school who had twice visited the monthly event. Prerna Pradhan, who was present at 42nd episode, had recited an English poem, first of its kind at Singtam Basibiyalo’s two decade long history. Pradhan added I had been to Gangtok but this was my first visit to Singtam Bazaar and I am very thankful towards Mohan Sir for this occasion.
