“Karkhen Dhungdrub” Puja held at Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim

Gangtok, 2 June, 2012

The Annual 2012 ” Karkhen Dhungdrub” Puja (Congregational Recitation of “Karmapa Khyenno” Mantra One Hundred Million [Ten Crore] times this year) is being conducted at Rumtek Monastery, Dharma Chakra Centre, East Sikkim for His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, all the good holy beings of the world and for world peace for the benefit of all sentient beings.

The prayers will be conducted by the monks and lay participants of Rumtek Monastery, DCC, lay participants from various parts of Sikkim during the month of Saga Dawa. It is open to all monks and lay participants which will commence from 4th June, 2012 at Rumtek Monastery, according to the tradition of Tibetan Calendar of Tsurphu.
