State awardee called upon by the Governor of Sikkim

Gangtok, June 10, 2013:

State Awardee Yougan Tamang was called upon by the Governor of Sikkim, Balmiki Prasad Singh on 7th June 2013 at Raj Bhawan, Gangtok.

The Governor had delivered a very encouraging words of wisdom & inspiration and guidance for the future to the young researcher during the meeting. He gifted a book to this proud youth of Sikkim and wished him best of luck for Manchester, UK conference. “Yougan Tamang is also a Member of Sikkim Tamang Youth Society.

Yougan Tamang is a Research Scholar and presenting his paper at Manchester, United Kingdom on “Changes in Religion and its Impact on Health of Tamangs of Sikkim, India.”
