The Birth Anniversary of late Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi is observed as Sadbhavana Diwas on 20th August Nation-wide every year to promote National Integration and communal harmony among the people of all religion and languages.
The State Government also observed the 69th birth anniversary to pay tribute to the former Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi, today.
On the occasion M.G Kiran, Principal Secretary Home Department, Government of Sikkim administered Sadbhavana Pledge to all Officials and staff of Secretariat at the State Secretariat, Development Area here in the state capital.
Similarly, the Sadbhavana pledge was also administered all over the state including all four districts of the state.
