Sikkim Assembly election along with 2014 Lok Sabha polls

New Delhi, January 6, 2014:

The Election Commission of India is scheduled to hold the Sikkim Assembly election along with Lok Sabha polls in mid-April.

The announcement of the poll dates would be done in the last days of February or at best the first two-three days of March.

The ECI will place two EVMs alongside for Sikkimese voters to vote for the candidates of Sikkim Assembly as well as Lok Sabha.
