The 542nd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji Maharaj was celebrated at the Rangpo Gurudwara in a grand manner. To mark this occasion a three day long religious akhand path (uninterrupted reading of the Sikh holy scriptures) was held starting November 19 which ended on 21st November with bhajan kirtan and guru ka langar. Hundreds of devotees from all communities participated in offering puja and participated in guru ka langar. Inspector General, Fire and Emergency Services Department, Akshay Sachdeva also participated in the programme and sang bhajan in respect of Guru Nanak Devji Maharaj. The Lions Club of Rangpo Gateway of Sikkim distributed water on the occasion to the devotees who had gathered in huge numbers at the Gurudwara.
