Rift between SDF and opposition parties are now very much evident. Violence has come to roads and vandalising vehicles is becoming way for the outburst of anger.

Some unidentified person set fire on a vehicle bearing No. SK-04-7774 at Melli on the night 19th March. The vehicle owner Mr. Nup Tshering Bhutia is said to be the supporter of Mr. Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) who
is a SDF dissident.

Golay’s supporter Jacob Khaling informed that they have lodged a first information report against Mr. Norbi Tamang at Melli Police station on 20th March regarding his involvement. Mr. Khaling informed that the accused Mr. Tamang is the active member of Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) party and is involved in setting fire on Mr. Bhutia’s vehicle.

Mr. Khaling asserted that the people will no longer tolerate the inhuman activates carried out by the ruling government as the citizens have been facing problems since few years back and now they are ready to face any challenges that comes across in future.
