The Press Club of Sikkim (PCS) is celebrating National Press Day on November 16 at Nepali Sahitya Parishad (Sikkim) Bhawan at Development Area. The event is being sponsored by State Information and Public Relations department. The Press Council of India has given the theme of the National Press Day as ‘Media and Corporate World-Challenges and Opportunities’ and hence, the Press Club of Sikkim would be celebrating the occasion on the same theme. State IPR minister CB Karki will attend the celebrations as the chief guest. PCS chief advisor CD Rai would be chairing the function. Sikkim Now! Editor Pema Wangchuk will be speaking on the theme during the function. The State IPR department will also announce annual financial incentives to five selected journalists of Sikkim.
