CPRM central committee president Tara Mani Rai today said that the agitations are of two types, one for Gorkhaland and the other is for GTA. And the CPRM in every step is designed for Gorkhaland. He said collaboration all the different parties and organisation of the country the CPRM will be forming its future agendas. Targeting the May Day, the party will sit for a coordination meeting on April 30 where it will be accompanied by the intellectual from all over the country and added that the BGP along with the Gorkhaland Task Force are carrying forward the programmes of Gorkhaland. He series of programmes of the May Day will be disclosed only after the meeting said Rai.

“When Telengana gets statehood, Gorkhaland must not be left out” said Rai. He also condemned the government attitude of preaching that the problems of the Gorkhas have been solved out after the GTA. He said that the government is hindering the formation of the GTA.

“What the GJM has been trying to say, we have never understood. The Telengana and the Gorkhaland issues are not the same” said Rai. Clarifying this he said that if Telengana is not granted the statehood they will not be labeled as outsider but the Gorkhas are. The attainment of Gorkhaland is far more important than that of the Telengana added Rai. Commenting on the Terai-Dooars he said that the region comes after and the issue of Gorkhaland is always important. The CPRM will be firm on the decision and most vital is to preserve the demand for Gorkhaland burning said Rai. (TS)
