Majhitar, 26 July 2012:

A General Meeting was held among the members and senior citizens of Majhitar at Majhitar School Ground regarding Independence Celebration. Majhitar Educated Unemployed Youth Co-operative Society of Majhitar, Rangpo is going to organize Open Volleyball Tournament on the occasion of 66th independent day at Majhitar school ground in a grand way.

During the meeting Councilor H.K. Chettri and Headmaster of Singleybong School, I.K. Gurung, along with the public of Majhitar were present.
Any team from anywhere can participate in this tournament, their are no regional boundaries in the tournament. The winner will get the cash prize of 50000 in rupees
And the runner up will get cash prize of 30000 in rupees. Joining fee would be 1000 rupees.

After quarter finals, each Team will be given an stipend amount of 500 rupees. The game will be played in international volleyball rules and regulation. Participating Teams should submit full information of their team members and the details of the club they represent. Teams will have to pay their joining amount (free Rs 1000) on or before 3rd august 2012.
