Mangan, 17 August, 2012:

IRBn 3rd Battalion clinched the Independence Day Football Tournament against Dikchu SSS by 5-0. They were awarded with trophy along with the cash prize of Rs. 30,000/-, the runner up team was awarded cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- with trophy.

Diwas Chettri of Manul School was adjusted best goalkeeper, Som Bahadur Limboo of Mussca Thingchim was awarded highest scorer, fair play team to Blue Star Namok, goal of the tournament to Tsitchiz Limboo of MKES, man of the series to Angshi Hang Subba of IRBn 3rd battalion and the man of the match to Bikash Chettri of IRBN 3rd Battalion, man of the series the 21inch color television was sponsored by Tongden family Dikchu Bazaar, for best goal keeper Refrigerator (165 ltrs) sponsored by Katuk family Mangshila, for man of the match for final Titan wrist watch sponsored by Gautam Gurung and family 12th Mile, for Highest scorer Home theatre sponsored by Prakash Chettri and the fair play team full set jersey sponsored by Youth of Jang basti and the trophies for winner and runner up has been sponsored by Sundass B.

The tournament which had started from 29 of July had a total of 36 teams participated from different corner of the State.
