Gangtok, 3 October 2012:

Pawan Chamling, the Chief Minister of Sikkim and Mrs Tika Maya Chamling express their deep condolence on the sad demise of Kedar Nath Sahani former Governor of Sikkim who passed away in the morning of 3rd Oct 2012 at Batra Hospital in Delhi.

Late Shri Sahani was 86 years of age and served as Governor of Sikkim from 2001 to 2002. The Chief Minister in his condolence message to the bereaved family conveyed the sentiments of the Sikkimese people who remembered the contribution of the departed soul towards the State of Sikkim. Late Shri Sahni is survived by his wife and two sons.
