Two transfer orders were issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on 2nd May which involved some of the highest bureaucratic posts and personalities of the Government of Sikkim. The first list of transfers is as follows:

(1) Shri Karma Gyatso, IAS, Additional CS, DPERNECAD is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary cum Financial Commissioner, in-charge of Finance, Revenue & Expenditure Department.

(2) Smt. R. Ongmu, IAS, Principal Secretary, FR & ED is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary cum Development Commissioner, DPERNECAD.

(3) Smt. N. Yethenpa, IAS, Secretary, Cooperation Department is transferred and posted as Secretary, Tourism & CA Department.

(4) Shri A. K. Chettri, IAS, Secretary, SPSC, is transferred and posted as Secretary, Cooperation Department.

(5) Shri R. Telang, IAS, Secretary, HRDD is transferred and posted as Secretary, Science & Technology Department.

(6) Shri S.B.S. Bhaduria, IFS, presently Secretary, Tourism & CA Department on deputation is repatriated and posted to his parent department in his substantive post in IFS cadre.

(7) Shri A. K. Giri, Principal Chief Engineer, Energy & Power Department shall hold the charge of Secretary, Energy & Power Department.

(8) Shri K. S. Tobgay, SCS, Special Secretary, DPERNECAD is transferred and posted as Special Secretary IPR/Printing & Stationary Department and shall hold the charge of Secretary, IPR/Printing & Stationary Departments in his own substantive pay.

(9) Smt. Jemima Pradhan, SCS, Special Secretary, HRDD is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, SPSC and shall hold the charge of Secretary SPSC in her own substantive pay.

(10) Shri C. T. Wangdi, SCS, Special Secretary, Food & CS Department is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Labour Department and shall also hold the charge of Secretary, Labour Department and Capacity Building in his own substantive pay.

(11) Shri C. S. Rao, IFS, Director, HRDD shall hold the charge of Secretary, HRDD.

The Second order that was issued on 1st is as follows:

The Governor is pleased to order the following with immediate effect:-

1. Smt. Ganga Pradhan, SCS, Joint Secretary, Directorate of Lotteries under Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department is hereby transferred and posted as Director, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom under Commerce and Industries Department.

2. Ms. Namrata Thapa, SCS, Director, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom under Commerce and Industries Department. is hereby transferred and posted as Registrar, Sikkim Manipal University,Tadong, on deputation vice sl. No. 03 below.

3. Shri Balaram Subba, SCS, Registrar (on deputation), Sikkim Manipal University, Tadong, is hereby repatriated to the State Government and posted as Joint Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department.
