Trilok Subba wins Gold Medal for India in Taekwondo

Trilok Subba has made the State proud by winning a Gold Medal in the 6th CK Classic Malaysian Open International Championship in the first master Taekwondo poomsae category on the 15th-17th July 2011.

The Silver medal went to Aday Margulan of Kazakhstan and bronze was won by Karuna Rathna of Sri Lanka. Out of 11 Indian Team Contingent  Trilok won Single Gold Medal for India.

The championship was organized by Malaysia Taekwando Federation from 15th to 18th of July 2011. The countries that participated were Malaysia, Korea, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Iran, India, Pakistan, Myanmar etc. A total of 600 male and female sub junior, junior, senior and master contestants took part in this championship. Mr Subba has expressed his happiness for winning Gold Medal for India in this mega championship and was also happy that his hard work had finally paid.
