The Sakyamuni Project Committee, Rabong South Sikkim in line with the Holy Annual Bumchu is conducting a ceremony at Tashiding on 19th March which has been renamed the Tathagatha Preserve by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and has decided to hold the annual Public Audience (Zekha) of the Ringsel.
The most precious holy relics of Lord Buddha presented by 13 Countries at the Rabong Karma Thekchenling Donkun Duppai Gatshal Monastery at Mane Choekerling Complex. The holy relics which are said to have miraculous powers were collected by a delegation of Thai Sangha headed by Venerable Jamnian Silaseetho, a highly respected Thai monk from various countries and presented to the Sakyamuni project in 2008 along with the relics includes one presented by the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand.
His Eminence the Samter Tulku of the monastery will preside over the ceremony and a health Camp has also been sponsored by H. E. Samter Tulku with specialists from the Health Care Human Services and Family Welfare Department. Furthermore, the Sakyamuni Project Committee cordially invites all pilgrims, well-wishers and those interested to join the Public Audience of the Ringsel- the Most Precious Relics of Lord Buddha and also participate in the ceremony at the new monastery. Visitors can also visit the developments and the Lord Buddha statue coming up at the venue.
