Free chicken pox vaccination given to the students of Makha by NHPC

A total of 90 children of below the age of 12 years of Makha Secondary school were provided the chicken pox vaccination on 16th April in a function for Immunization Programme conducted by NHPC Teesta Stage V Project at the school premises.

The vaccination was conducted by the paramedical team of NHPC Hospital, Balutar. The function was attended by CMO, NHPC along with the Dr Pumzey Denzongpa (DRCHO) from Singtam District Hospital. The function also had the distribution of free spectacles to 32 eye patients from the different villages which has been treated earlier in Kokaley Busty by NHPC.

The function was also attended by the ward panchayat, Renuka Neopany, SK Sethi (Asst Director HR Division, NHPC), Representative Yuva Jagriti Sangh, Kamal Bhattarai, teachers and students of the school, NHPC officials and the general public.
