A step towards Kutcha House Free State

A Consultation Workshop on implementation of Chief Minister’s Rural Housing Mission to achieve the Kutcha House Free State by 2013 was held on 17th March, 2011 at Janata Bhawan, Gangtok under the chairmanship of Minster for Rural Management and Development Department (RMDD) Mr. C.B. Karki and was also attended by the all Additional District Collector (Development), the Block Development Officers, senior officers of RM and DD and representative of Forest and Power departments.

The meeting discussed various designs of the houses to be offered to the beneficiaries for the construction within Rs. 3.00 lakhs, financial grant, supervision systems, selection procedure of beneficiaries and many more. The Operational Guidelines of the Scheme were also discussed and finalised. This project being a noble one and the dream of Chief Minister, Minister RM and DD requested all the officers to work hard and sincerely to achieve the goal of Kutcha House Free State by 2013.
