20 Chujachen MLA Puran Kumar Gurung visited the earthquake affected areas of
his constituency from 23rd to 26th of September. He started his visit from Sishney
Ward along with wards of Lingtam-Padamchin GPU. MLA visited Chandaney Area, which
was worst affected by the tremor. According to the source, total number of sixteen
houses has collapsed and three houses damaged in Hatticharey and Mangkim ward.
He visited Rongli Bazar along with SDPO Rongli C.C. Bhutia, panchayat president Dawa Tshering Bhutia. During
his tour he visited Chujachen Bank Dara, to have a sight of Ratna Bahadur Manger’s house, which was completely devastated by the18th September earthquake. MLA Gurung was accompanied by Aritar Panchayat President Dhiren Gurung, Secretary NB Chettri and local members of SDF Party
workers. He also visited Kingstone ward, Khamdong and middle Aritar ward during
his tour.
