Members of the Travel Agents Association of Sikkim (TAAS) condoled the death of those who became the victim of September 18 Quake.
‘We stand by the bereaved families of the victims and the people of Sikkim’, said a TAAS Press Release.
Members of Travel Agents Association of Sikkim have assured to provide a sum of Rs.101000/-(rupees one lakhs one thousand) to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund.
The inauguration of the Capacity Building Training for the ‘North East Region’ which was scheduled to be held on 24th September 2011 has been postponed to 12th October 2011 owing to the calamity.
President and executive members of TAAS has also appealed all the members and other tourism stake holders in state to give a helping hand to the bereaved families and support the administration in this crucial juncture.
