Tibet among the 8 top travel destinations of China

Popular public review site, Lunch.com, has listed Tibet among the 8 top travel destinations in China. Though to visit Tibet, tourists need a special permit from the Government of China. This is one hurdle that travelers face while choosing Tibet as their choice of visit. Despite having numerous magnificent options, China’s rigid government makes it hard for voyagers to explore the country freely. In the case to Tibet, rules are much more adamant.

Lunch.com has selected top 8 wonders of China and among them, The Great Wall of China, tops the list. One of the seven wonders of the world, this symbol of longevity and nationality for Chinese people is the most visited tourist spot in China. Badaling and Shimatai areas are quite popular among tourists. Among other sought-after destinations, Terracotta Army Sculptures in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, the city of Guilin for nature lovers, area of Mount Huangshan which also happens to be an UNESCO World Heritage Site, nature reserve Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan, Forbidden City of Ming Dynasty and The Three Gorges Dam along with Tibet are also mentioned in the list.

While exploring Tibet, travelers prefer to see Potala Palace the most. Potala Palace is the chief residence of the Dalai Lama. It is situated in Lhasa, the beautiful capital of Tibet. Nature lovers often choose the stretch of the rail road starting at Xining, for astonishing scenic view and comfort. Tough people coming to the city by air also get to see breathtaking mountains surrounding the city.

The exotic Tibet and many virgin destinations in China, are waiting for voyagers. Visitors are also seeking fresh places to enjoy their vacations and Tibet and China are becoming their first choice in recent times. So now Chinese government have to make its rules easy for the tourists and that too specially in Tibet.
