Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) Party has strongly condemned the statement of former MP Nakul Das Rai, in a press release issued by the party on 22nd November, 2011.

Rai have no right to say anything about the people of Sikkim. He had said that Sikkimese people are becoming beggars in their own state, which is wrong. People of Sikkim are very satisfied and believe in the present Government; as a result it has been elected for fourth consecutive times. All people are well aware about the SDF Party policies and principle but former MP is trying to misguide the people which party strongly condemns, informs the release.

SDF is always working for the welfare of the society and taking the state towards better future and the party is always busy making plans for better tomorrow. Rai before was also in SDF Party but due to lack of ability and self interest he has left the party. He did not speak against the party when he was is a responsible post but after expelled from the party he has busied himself for criticizing the party. He is no doubt an opportunist, adds the release.
