GANGTOK January 17,2012:

During a regular patrolling the Singtam Police located a thief who was trying to open the tyre of a parked vehicle at Shantinagar, Singtam but the thief fled before he was caught.

Reportedly, a tire of an Alto and other luggage was also missing
from Chisopani. Police has been successful in recovering all the lost items from Chisopani itself.

Police has also seized a vehicle bearing No. WB 40-9781 and the thief has been identified as Andrew Rai, a resident of Singtam.
