Bhaichung Bhutia’s United Sikkim Football Club ended with draw with Green Valley in the third level of the ongoing 2nd Division I-League being played at Silchar, Assam on Wednesday.
In the first half USFC was trailing behind a goal. It was after a magnificent goal from Daniel Bidemi in the extra time that USFC leveled the score. In the second half Thoi Singh added hope on USFC by scoring a goal taking score to 2-1.
The third goal came in the form of own goal. A fierce shot of Baba Tunde resulted an own goal at the Green valley goal post leading the score to 3-1.
USFC was leading the game and was domination till the 70 minutes. But the opponent fought so majestically and leveled the score to 3-3. Attempts were seen from USFC but ended the match with a draw. With a draw in the tournament, the USFC camp was seen distressing. The players were of the opinion that the result could have been better.
