NABARD GM visits Rongli and Rhenock in Sikkim

Rongli (East Sikkim): February 15, 2012

15th Feb, National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD) Gangtok General Manager/Officer Incharge PC Chaudhri visit the Bhumi Organic Masala Factory at Rhenock-Rungdung which is run by Himali Self Help Group (SHG) and he interact with members of Himali SHG and Saipatri SHG Kingstone Aritar along with Executive Secretary Mani Kumar Gurung of Youth Development Society of Sikkim (YODESS) Rongli. On Same day GM Chaudhri met with the all members of Kosis SHG of Sudunglakha School Dara East Sikkim. This SHG was established on November, 2011 and promoted by YODESS. Kosis SHG is doing production of Organic Manual.

On his two day official visit General Manager attended on Programme of Awareness Gerneration Programme for Rural Women organised by YODESS, Rongli under supported by Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi through State Board, Gangtok on 14th Feb at Dalapchand Gram Prasashan Kendra’s multipurpose hall. here GM interact with the members of different SHGs and representatives of Farmers Clubs.GM Chandhri said, NABARD will provide training programme for SHG on Mushrom Cultivation. Programme welcomed by YODESS Chairperson cum Deputy Director ICDS Rongli N. Chettri. SISCO Bank Rongli Branch Manager Vikash Gurung, Dalpachan Panchayat Secretary MK Rai, YODESS Executive Secretary Mani Kumar Gurung spokes on.while joint Secretary of YODESS Ajay Gurung gave vote of thanks.

SISCO Bank Rongli provide loan (forty thousand) Sanction letter to Nari Pratibha SHG Dalapchan, it was distribute through NABARD General Manager. Before departure to Gangtok General Manager visit Office of YODESS Changeylakha,Rongli and interact with women members of Sagarmatha SHG along with Yodess board members.
