United Sikkim beats Arihma FC by 2-0 in I-League 2nd Div.

Gangtok, February 17
Bhaichung Bhutia’s United Sikkim FC won the match against Arihma FC by 2-0 on Friday in the ongoing 2nd division I-League being played at Silchar in Assam. With this win United Sikkim has entered the second round of the tournament leading the group with 13 points.

Today when Sikkimese sniper Bhutia stepped into the ground in the second half, the atmosphere automatically was in favour of the Sikkim Lions. Bhutia known for his winning goals, lived up with the expectation of the fans and scored a stunning goal in the second half of the 63rd minute.

The ball possession was totally dominated by the Sikkim Lions. To seal a clear three points, Quinton Jacobs scored another goal in the end of the match taking the score to 2-0.

United Sikkim won four matches except a draw with Green valley.
The last group match is scheduled against Aizwal FC on February 20th at Silchar, which holds importance said Bhutia. Speaking about the days match ‘The Tinkitam Express’ said that the team was at its best and all the boys played well. “We hope that we carry the spirit further and give our best” added Bhutia.
