CPRM spokesperson Mohan Poudyal today addressing the media said, “The GTA issue now has been crystal clear. At last a total of 16 mouzas from Terai-Dooars and in the DGHC, the election will be held. It can be recalled here that a total of 13 mouzas was already there in the DGHC as per the accord of 1988. Subash Ghising’s sixth schedule had opted for 18 mouzas and was in the way of acceptance. But today, the GTA proved lesser than that of sixth schedule where only 16 mouzas of Terai-Dooars have been included.”

“Everybody from the Naari morcha, yuwa morcha, official of various departments had come down the road and some of them were martyr but what is the conclusion, 16 mouzas of GTA”, questioned Poudyal.

“Today every Gorkha individual is against the policy of the GJM as GTA cannot meet the aspiration of the Gorkhas. It is truly a betrayal to the Gorkhas,” said Poudyal. “This time even the people of Terai-Dooars have been betrayed by the GJM,” he added.

The CPRM president has also said about observing the workers day in the hills and till the formation of Gorkhaland the domination of the workers will not be ended. The GJM workers association and the owners has been working cordial and the rest has been left out which the CPRM is opposed to.

Poudyal also said that GJM could not bring Gorkhaland and the others who are trying for it has been targeted. The Gorkhas are in favor of Gorkhaland not for GTA. The voices for Gorkhaland have been suppressed by the GJM and the central government added Poudyal.
