17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje arrives at Malaysia

Gangtok, May 19, 2012

After finishing his first round of dharma teaching of Taiwan, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje arrived at Malaysia today.

Earlier, His Holiness was given a rousing farewell at Taipei by both the monks and devotees at the roadside along the Grand Hotel to the Airport, who turned in hundreds and thousands states a release issued by the PRO, Sikkim to the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, today.

The release states, His Holiness would land at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) today at about 8PM and will stay there till May 25, 2012. His Holiness will be accorded dharma reception by his thousands of devotees tomorrow along-with the Mandala offerings of Body, Speech and Mind which will be followed by Mahakala Puja and empowerment of Manjushree by the HH in the evening. During the course of stay there, HH shall also initiate the monks and devotees with empowerment of Chenrejig and lead Mahakala Puja. Apart from visiting the Karma Kagyu centres, HH shall grant audiences to the monks and devotees of the country. His Holiness the Karmapa is also slated to lead Red Chenrezig Jang Chog Puja for Deceased and victim of natural calamities and would also attend dharma Questions & Answers Session at Kuala Lumpur.

After completing his Malaysia tour he is scheduled to leave for Singapore for his third round of visit on May 25, 2012.

    What a fake. Guys this guy is fake karmapa appointed by shamar. Real karmapa is in Dharmasala. You will see him so special if you meet him in person. Shame

    @Ram …seems like you seem to be a very High and eminent lama of the Karma Kagyu Sect, who has that divine quality to select Karmapas.
    If you say that His Holiness Dalai Lama selected Karmapa, your contradiction comes with a fullstop as that would be a comment by an amateur to doesnt know the age old traditions of Karmapa and Karma Kagyu Traditions

    @ram, who is Dalai Lama? He is respected all over the world as he fights for TIbetan people but spiritually he is not senior as Karmapa and Sharmapa. He is just equal to other spiritual leader. Religion is part of culture and respect the aged old tradition of Kagyu.

    I am sure Trinley Thaye Dorje does a great service to beings, teaching and meeting with students around the world. But I have to agree with Ram on his point: if you see the 17th Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje in person — his spiritual presence is so powerful that it is really quite effecting. Don’t come to a conclusion on this matter without direct experience.

    @OM MANI , Amitabha Buddha, etc.., Dalai Lama, etc… you are only interested in politics, same old thing.. less dharma, more politics.

    don’t get fear about others if you know dharma.
