Gangtok, September 3, 2012:

“Dream high, there comes a light after every dark hour…” These are the lyrics which tore the heart of hundreds of youth in Thimpu, when Urban Inc. band performed there at Mojo Park on August 24 and 25.

The only Hip-Hop band of Sikkim is becoming popular among the youths not only in the State but also in the mountain kingdom of Bhutan.

“The show went on well. There was lots of free style dancing by the local youths to the tune of our music. We have just come back from Bhutan last night. Will be going to Bhutan again in October this year possibly for an open air performance,” said the 24 years old promising singer Lex while speaking to SIKKIM MAIL.

The band was sponsored by Bikash Chamling, Bishal Chamling and Thukchuk Lachungpa. The band has already done a single track ‘Dream High’ and other number was ‘Rise to the Top’. The band consists of Lex and Thupz as singers and Dj Sunny.

“Presently we are making a video, the process is going on. We have already taken shots in Darjeeling’s Mount Hermon School, TNA Gangtok and Legislative Assembly View by night,” added Lex.
