Dalai Lama’s programme in Sikkim slightly changed

Gangtok, March 19, 2013:

There have been changes to the programme at Ravangla, South Sikkim. The Dalai Lama will now do the Vajrakilaya (Dorjee Phurba) consecration ceremony of the Buddha Statue at Ravangla on 25th March 2013 from 9 am to 10 am.

After lunch Dalai Lama will give Teaching on Thirty Seven Practices of Bodisattva ( Gyai-Say-Lak-Len-So-Dunma) from 12. 45 pm to 3 pm.

On 26th March 2013 His Holiness will give White Tara Long Life Empowerment (Dolkar Jenang) and Long Life Offerings (Tenshuk) by Government of Sikkim and Ravangla Tibetan Communities from 9 am to 11.30 am. After lunch His Holiness will depart for Gangtok.

On 27th March 2013 early morning His Holiness will depart for Salugara, Siliguri. At Salugara, from 27th to 29th March 2013, His Holiness will give teaching on Je-Tsong Khapas Concise Stages for the Path to Enlightenment(Lam-Rim-Du-Don), and Kun-Kyen Long-Chen Rab- jampas Relaxing the Mind Itself(Sem-Nyid-Nye-Sol). on 29th March 2013, His Holiness will confer Avalokiteshvara Initiation (Chen-Re-Zig-Wang-Chen).
