National Defence College held Socio-Political Tour in Sikkim

Sikkim Governor BP Singh granted the audience at the Raj Bhavan Winter Camp in Rangpo to a group comprising of Faculty and Course Members of the 53rd NDC Course of National Defence College, New Delhi, who are currently on a Socio-Political Tour (SPT) of Sikkim. They included senior civil and military officers from India, Afghanistan, Singapore and the UK.

In a conversation with the group, the governor spoke at length about the State of Sikkim and its achievements across various fields.

The Governor also highlighted the harmony between culture, democracy and good governance as essential components of the State’s progress.

The Group expressed their appreciation and admiration for the progress and development that they had witnessed in the State during their visit.

The elite members of the group are returning back to New Delhi with the impression of how Sikkim has progressed over the years and that it is a success story in India.
