Rangpo Lions Club set to organise Health Camp in Sikkim

Rangpo, April 17, 2013

Lions Club of Rangpo, a gateway of Sikkim is going to organise a daylong Health Check-up Camp, Awareness and Cultural Programme on the eve of Ramnavami on April 19 here in Rangpo Chanaatar Hall Complex.

Rrajen Gurung Club president, lion Chabilal Sharma  Zone Chairman and lion Lalita Chettri programme chairman gave details about the programme being set.

From 10am to 2pm the Eye Check-up Camp as well as Diabetes Check-up Camp will be organised with the help of Siliguri Tarai Lions Eye Hospital, where medical specialists will check the patients and diabetes.

In the evening to explore the local talents, a cultural programme will be organised and awareness programme on human trafficking will also be held. Advocate cum Rangpo Nagar Panchaayat vice president  Puspa Misra will present a paper as the main resource person while area MLA Neeru Sewa has consented to grace the occasion.
