Raj Pradhan, also the Primo Events general manager, said: “We are happy with the quality of the candidates. All of them were very good but we have to select only 24 contestants. These 24 contestants would be competing for the Miss Sikkim title”.

The shortlisted girls would be undergoing a grooming and training session from June 1 with the grand finale scheduled on June 8 at Manan Kendra. The contestants would be facing elimination rounds of traditional wear, casual wear, swimsuit and party wear before the top five finalists are selected for final evening wear and question and answer rounds.

Among the final five contestants, one contestant would be crowned as Miss Sikkim 2013 as per the decision given by the judges.

In between, a talent show event is being organised on May 27 at Absolute Demazong restaurant here where all the 24 contestants would be showcasing their talents in different fields.
