Sikkim’s EIILM University VC arrested
Gangtok, May 8, 2013
EIILM University (Sikkim) vice chancellor OV Vijayan and two other top university officials were arrested by Gangtok police on May 6 from Jorethang on charges of cheating and forgery of documents.
Registrar Col (retired) Alok Bandhari and controller of examinations Vijay Dahiya were the other two EIILM University officials to be arrested in connection to a case registered with Gangtok Sadar police station. They were all picked up from the university campus at Jorethang in the evening hours and brought to Gangtok, informed DIG (Range) Mandeep Singh Tuli.
A case of forgery of documents, using such documents as genuine, cheating and criminal conspiracy under sections 467, 468, 471, 181 and 120B of IPC have been registered against the three university officials. The case relates with alleged issuance of forged marksheets to students by EIILM University.
Later September, police had sealed the EIILM University office in Jorethang on allegations that the university was handing out certificates in a fraudulent manner. Police had launched investigations and a case of cheating and forgery was registered at Jorethang police station against the university officials.
The EIILM University, set up in 2006, operates from its campus on rented premises at Jorethang.

Bhai jo bhi Eiilm University se degree le raha hai uski koi value nahi hai thik hai maine bhi eiilm universtiy se form submit kiya tha exam bhi ho gaye lekin abhi tak degree nahi mili..Maine exam sept. 2012 mei diye the ab july aa gaya hai lekin abhi tak degree nahi mili. ab batao aisi chor university ka kya kare maine to jis institute se form bhara tha unke khilaf main fir launch karva di hai aur consumer court mein case dalva diya hai ….aap sab bhaiyo se mein yeh kehna chaha raha ki koi bhi eiilm se degree na le ye fruad hai….

it’s a not recognized by ugc. i had done my bca from eiilm . after joining in one mnc they told that this university is black listed and i lost my job i am from bangalore. i planed to do again BCA in ignou for my future . i suggest you all please do another degree because this will not work in any mnc.

I am Amit Sharma, I have done MBA (Industry Integrated) in dual specialization Finance and HR through Entrepreneur Business School under EIILM University by paying course fee of Rs. 4.00.000.
Now on applying for jobs my degree has been found invalid and I want to know is there any way for the refund of the fee or validating the degree?
