Morcha had called an allparty meeting yesterday to determine the future of the movement to demand Gorkhaland on the lines of Telangana and in view of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on August 10 declaring it illegal and to call it off within 72-hours.
The Chief Minister had also mentioned the Calcutta High Court order to the State government to maintain normalcy in the hills.

This is nothing but sponsored terrorism with police raaj going on here,” said Chettri adding that all the political parties present in the meeting also appeal to all the people in the hills to support the two day ‘junta curfew’ that starts from tomorrow.
