Three vehicles parked along the supporting wall of the Government College Tadong, near the auditorium hall were damaged as the wall fell down in the night of 19th May.

The wall was damaged from past few years and was not properly maintained by the department; hence it gave in finally damaging three vehicles. As the incident occurred at night luckily no one was injured, but had it happened during the day it could have endangered many students. The students have also expressed their concern and have demanded that all such damaged walls should be maintained at the earliest keeping the upcoming monsoon in view. Principal of College Shri MP Kharel informed that the area has already been declared as a sinking zone by the concerned department.
