For a cleaner Rangpo

A total of 100 kgs of bleaching powder, 15 large garbage bins and 25 bottles of phenyl were distributed by Mr. Bikash Kumar Prasad, Ward Councillor, Rangpo Nagar Panchayat Ward No.4 on the day long cleanness drive organised at Rangpo Mazi Gaon on 14th February.

Giving importance to cleanliness and a healthy life Mr. Prasad during his address said that the way to a healthy and wealthy life is to remain clean and keep the surroundings clean. Advising the people to
make proper use of the dustbins he said that until and unless the surrounding is clean people can never lead a healthy life. He also advised the people to make use of the public toilets and keep them clean. The social workers who had participated in this cleanliness drive pledged the people in upgrading the status of ICDS centre at Mazi Gaon, Rangpo.

A month long cleanness drive has been launched and today’s programme also falls under the same project. Miss Puhspa Misra, Vice President, Rangpo Nagar Panchayat and other social workers also participated in this day long cleanness drive. A group of EPCS youths also organized a primary health centre complex today under the same social project scheme.
