A meeting of Sikkim Archery Association was held in the office of SAA at Tathangchen, Gangtok. The meeting was chaired by the Hon’ble Minister who is also the President SAA Mr TT Bhutia, General Secretary, SSA Dr KB Gurung extended a warm welcome to the all the members present. In the meeting following matters were discussed.

1. Selection of the players for the junior national archery tournament to be held at New Delhi from 25th to 31st Dec. 2010.

2. President’s Cup (bamboo archery tournament) to be held from 9 Jan 2010 at SAA archery field, Tathangchen.

3. State Level Open Archery Championship to be held on 14th and 15th Dec 2010 at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok.

4. Archery camp to be held from 24 Nov. to 4th Dec. 2010 at SAA archery field, Tathangchen. During the camp SAA will provide breakfast and all the equipments free of cost to the trainees. The camp will be held under the supervision of State Chief Coach Mr Jigmee Youzar and coach Mr Thupden Rongkup, who is the qualified coach and had played in junior World Archery Tournament. The archery camp is open to all interested persons wanting to train and to secure a bet in the State Archery Team for national Archery Tournament.
