Subha Laxmi to take 20 disabled children for treatment

Subha Laxmi, a social organization based in the capital has informed that they are planning to take twenty disabled children of Sikkim to Agra for treatment in January 2011. Mrs Lalita Lama who is the President of the Organization informed that these children will be treated for Cleft Palate and Polio. Mrs. Lama further informed that the Organization is looking for funds and sponsors for the proposed journey.

She had also recently run a charity show “Naiana Reshami” a Nepali film, but informed that the money raised by the show was not sufficient and added that she has urged all the social workers and others concerned citizens to come forward with generous contributions for the noble cause. It is to be mentioned here that Subha Laxami Social organization, is based in Gangtok since the year 2007. It has been doing social service since a long time in and around the capital, specially helping the housewives, needy and youths to become economically self- reliant.
