Sikkim: Tumin-Lingee MLA visits his constituency

The area MLA of Tumin-Lingee constituency and Chief Whip, Government of Sikkim, Ugen T Gyatso Bhutia visited the area of Lower Kambal under 16 Tumin-Lingee constituency to make a follow up visit for the damages of earthquake. Earlier also he had visited each and every corner of the affected areas after the 18 September earthquake providing the relief and rehabilitation to the affected people. He visited each and every house at Lower Kambal and interacted with the people whether the relief has been provided to the genuine affected people. He also inspected the undergoing construction of houses under Chief Minister Rural Housing Mission in different areas. The area MLA also made spot sanctioned of Indira Awas Yojna (IAY) to the genuine and needy families during his visit. Further he also met with the Durga Mandir committee of Lower Kambal and the committee extended gratitude to the MLA and presented the citation for his contribution in the construction of the Mandir. He further directed the committee to develop the mandir. He assured for the up gradation of the playground of the school and informed that the teachers should shoulder the responsibility in molding the future of the children, said the MLA at Lower Kambal Primary School. He also informed the villagers that there should be contribution from everyone to make the Tumin-Lingee constituency as a model constituency in the state. The MLA was accompanied by the Zilla member Saraswati Regmi, Ward panchayat DN Pokhrel, Chelli morcha, youths and the villagers during his visit.
